Environmental design and compliance club
The club trains and supports consumer electronics manufacturers to use our web-based environmental design and compliance system. The system complies with the draft International Standard IEC 62430: Environmentally Conscious Design of Electrical and Electronic Producsts and Systems. It is designed to integrate with your new product design process so that logging into consumer-ecodesign.com becomes a fundamental part of the process:
The system provides checklists and worksheets that the product design team completes to address environmental design and product regulatory compliance requirements at each stage of the new product design process. By completing the checklists and worksheets the design team generates the document evidence which is required to demonstrate compliance with IEC 62430.

The system links into databases which explain practical compliance requirements for product environmental legislation and give guidance on environmental design:
